Warren Moon and Nesby Glasgow are joined by Tacoma dentist Steve Marinkovich, DDS, ABDSM, on the national Tackle Sleep Apnea campaign. They want to spread awareness on sleep apnea, the health dangers and share possible treatment options. You are invited to join the fight for sleep apnea awareness on Wednesday, September 26 at LeMay, America’s Car Museum in Tacoma. The event begins at 7:00pm and is FREE to the public.
Come and meet former NFL players, Warren Moon and Nesby Glasgow. They’ll be joining Dr. Marinkovich and other experts, to discuss their experience with sleep apnea. “The Tackle Sleep Apnea campaign has created quite a buzz with the retired NFL guys. I am looking forward to lending a hand to this campaign to boost the awareness of the dangers of sleep apnea,” Moon said. Moon and Glasgow will be available following the event, for autographs and photo opportunities.
As part of the event, Tacoma residents will have the opportunity to qualify for a free in-home sleep test for those who are concerned about sleep apnea. A free in-home sleep test is an alternative to spending the night in a sleep lab and gives an individual the opportunity to record breathing patterns in the comfort of his or her own bed.
